Happy Birthday to my number one blog. Luke, whatever you do, don’t stop blogging any time soon.
Best wishes!

Gratz Luke, keep up the good work and the most entertaining Atheist site on the web.
U Da Best.

So is this is what we have to look forward to from CSA?

* Temper tantrums likely to peak during this year; cannot be reasoned with while tantrum is in progress.
* Impatient; finds it difficult to wait or take turns.
* Enjoys “helping”
* “Bossy”
* Making choices is difficult; wants it both ways.
* Often defiant; shouting “no” becomes automatic.
* Ritualistic; wants everything “just so”

Haha, I hope not.

Gratz! Keep up the good work! In my opinion this is the best atheist site out there!

I really loved the Paul Almond podcast. I’d say that was my personal favourite that I’ve listened to so far. All the Robert Price ones rock, as well.

Silver Bullet November 30, 2010 at 11:30 am

Luke, you really should be proud of what you have accomplished here.

This IS the best atheist blog/site out there because you are so thoughtful & gracious, and your spirit of inquiry is unmatched, along with your “blogativity”.

Do you ever sleep?

Who cares…please keep it up.

Jeff H November 30, 2010 at 12:10 pm

Congrats, and happy birthday! Here’s to another two years :)

Luke Muehlhauser November 30, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Silver Bullet,

Yeah, I’ll have plenty of time for sleep when I’m dead.

mege November 30, 2010 at 2:02 pm

Congrats, Luke! You are sharing so many clear insights and ideas :)

Silver Bullet,Yeah, I’ll have plenty of time for sleep when I’m dead.

Reminds me of the saying “The earlier you die the longer you will be dead!” (Free translation from the Swiss saying “Wer früher stirbt ist länger tot” …)

Thanks again.

You’ve grown up so fast! I remember when I could look at the comments RSS feed and see all of the comments that had been made since the last time I was on.

Adito November 30, 2010 at 3:22 pm

Congratulations, you’ve made something very interesting here. This site was a great jumping off point for my deeper exploration of the relevant topics. Keep up the good work, we’re all enjoying it!

Mastema November 30, 2010 at 3:57 pm

Happy birthday, Common Sense Atheism!

Luke Muehlhauser November 30, 2010 at 4:19 pm

Awwww… you guys are so sweet. :)

Tony Hoffman November 30, 2010 at 4:45 pm

Yeah, I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this thing that you made. So thank you very much. I have also wondered when you sleep, but so long as you’re keeping this thing going at the rate you do, I don’t really care. :)

I also want to give a shout out to the many commenters who regularly contribute here. I’m reminded of Jerry Garcia basically saying that, yes, the band got together and started playing gigs, but the fans are what created the Grateful Dead. I believe there’s some truth to that here as well. (I went to a couple of concerts back in the day; the shows were good, but the experience was way cooler.)

Rashbam November 30, 2010 at 5:59 pm

Happy anniversary, Luke. Thanks again for all your fine work here.

Thoaar November 30, 2010 at 6:54 pm

Congrats and thanks for the podcasts and blog! I look forward to many more birthdays to come.

TaiChi November 30, 2010 at 7:54 pm

Happy Anniversary! You have easily the best atheist blog on the net, and I’ve very much enjoyed reading it. Here’s to hoping you continue to be stimulated and stimulate the rest of us with your passion for philosophy!

Bill Maher November 30, 2010 at 8:15 pm

congrats buddy. keep up the great work.

Hermes November 30, 2010 at 9:52 pm

Impressive Luke. 2 years isn’t much time at all to do what you’ve done.

This is very much a motivator to get me on my own projects.

Hermes November 30, 2010 at 10:00 pm

Zeb, blog years not dog years. :-)

I’d track blogs as I would the gap between long living goldfish and short lived chickens.

Alexandros Marinos December 1, 2010 at 12:50 am

Congratulations Luke! I can confidently say that CSA has been possibly the best on-line finding for me in 2010. Keep it up!

James Onen December 1, 2010 at 4:07 am

This blog is the reason I am currently studying for a Diploma in Philosophy. I really can’t thank you enough for all the great work you’ve done here, Luke. Please keep it up!

Gimpness December 1, 2010 at 4:10 am

Hey Luke
Just adding to the admiration that you so rightly deserve from this awesome website/blog that you have pioneered. The only thing I can add to apart from what other contributors have already said so is my admission of an (and suspected of others) intellectual crush. If others agree with me please do find the donate button and assist Luke in his quest for clarity, understanding and communication of some of this life’s greatest questions. If not so charitable at least spread the word.
