A Christmas Ballad

Sitting in the airport, waiting to fly home and see my family for Christmas, I broke into tears listening to this beautiful song again.

Yep, that’s really beautiful. It’s my favourite Christmas song too. Merry Christmas to all.

Tim Minchin is the greatest. Nobody can make you laugh and then immediately cry like him. Too bad he’s not more well known (yet) here in the states.

He’s not even especially well known (yet) here in Australia!

This one is fun too, if you can get over the 80′s hair and equal parts of poignancy and contempt you might have for a bunch of privileged jerks singing about world hunger. It’s a bit galling that the message is still as pertinent as ever. Will things ever change?
Yes, Sting, Bono, Phil Collins and Boy George were young once.
