The ten winners for the most recent Free Stuff Fridays have been contacted and sent their Google Wave invites. If you didn’t win this giveaway, better luck next time!

Four new free religion audiobooks: The Story of Mormonism, The Life of St. Teresa, Conceptions of Divine Love, Select Sermons of Jonathan Edwards.

My favorite new blog is John D’s Philosophical Disquisitions. Like me, John D seems to prefer post series. So far, he has begun some excellent post series on:

If you like the educational stuff I do on Common Sense Atheism, be sure to check out Philosophical Disquisitions.

Thanks for the recommendation Luke. I was wondering why there was such an increase in traffic today.

Hey, I actually won something. But none of my other contacts are using wave. Any of the other winners want to identify themselves and perhaps start a atheism-based wave?

josef,

Do you have any invites to give to your contacts?

I didn’t appear to have any invites until about an hour ago. I just got a message telling me I have 8 invites, which is a little bit after I left the last comment. And, my invites apparently won’t be sent instantaneously.

Have you thought about setting up a google wave invite pyramid scheme to power your friday giveaways? I would chip in a few for the good cause, especially if it went toward an atheist-based wave.

I know there are a few public atheist waves, but I don’t necessarily want a wave filled with george carlin youtube videos and bertrand russell quotes, which is what I suspect the public atheist waves will consist of.

josef,

I have no intention of doing anything like that, but others may be interested. I plan to use Google Wave for specific collaborative projects.

I just found a debate video between Michael Tooley and Peter Kreeft that doesn’t seem to be on the +400 Debates post:
