Thanks, especially the Society w/o God review. That’s one book I’ve got to get. It seems to be a reiterated attack by theists that secular society will devolve into barbarism.

Also, and this is somewhat off-topic and perhaps annoying deferential to the New Atheism (for which I always seem to be singing praise), but if you haven’t watched Sam Harris’ 2007 AAI talk I think it’s well worth it (if you can make it through Julia Sweeney’s silly intro). It summarizes the predicament and problems of atheism better than anything else I’ve ever read or heard.

I saw that talk a while back, that girl was a little over the top. I know religious people get emotional too, I just didn’t expect it at an atheist conference.
