Major Journals on Biblical Literature

by Luke Muehlhauser on February 26, 2010 in Bible,Resources

journal of biblical literatureI have previously listed major journals for philosophy of religion. Today I will list the major journals for the academic study of Biblical literature in English.¬†Unavoidably, I’m including several theological publications.

Also see The Review of Biblical Literature for academic reviews of hundreds of books on the subject.

What am I missing?

I’m hoping the attempt to form a secular sub-group of the Society of Biblical Literature succeeds.

I’m not sure if Themelios would be better suited for a list of more general Theological journals, but it does have some Biblical Studies content, so here’s the link: http://thegospelcoalition.org/publications

It is an evangelical journal, but if Robert Price’s Journal of Higher Criticism is included, you’re apparently OK with journals that have definite points of view.
