Joe missed a simple question when talking to the whackaloon;

* Why didn’t the other people notice that they were dead?

I mean, did they just dry themselves off after a few weeks and say something like…

“Wow, that was strange! Is everyone OK? Great! Nearly everyone? Good enough.

Let’s just ignore all that whole being dead thing. Don’t even write about it.

No muss, no fuss — consider it a vacation.

The buildings are OK, if anything they’re cleaner, and the crops and livestock are all back where we had them before. Look here, the records we left behind are dry!

Phew! No no — let’s not talk about what just happened. Let’s just ignore the whole thing!”

Joe really earned my respect when he started the witch hunt against Carlos Menstealia.

i think it’s funny that the crazy man sites other cultures’ flood stories as evidence for noah. if noah was real he would have had complete control of the telling of all prior history. why would he keep around the story of gilgamesh?
i don’t get it.
wait, why am i even trying to get it?

As I posted in the other thread (along with the link to the Rogan-Ark video) MArc Maron recently took on Mencia’s joke theivery and even got a couple of latin comics, former friends who Mencia stole from:

(shows 75 and 76)

Here is some of Marons’ stand up about Jesus:

Wow, his comedy routine is obnoxious. The end bit was pretty funny though…

This coming from Joe Rogan, a guy who seriously buys into the moon-landing hoax conspiracy theories.

JMauldin,

Interesting. Do you have a source for that?

Joe Rogan debated Phil Plait (The Bad Astronomer) about it. You can look it up on his blog. He reminds me of Bill Maher, another celebrity conspiracy-phile who manage to say some things that atheists like.

When did Bill Maher stand behind the conspiracy? Oh and the moon landing was faked. How come the second tower looks like it was brought down by a controlled demolition. Oh sorry i was reading off the wrong conspiracy website. Conspiracies are the intellectual equivalent of bad fashion statements, you can’t hold it against someone. Otherwise my friends’d shoot me for trying to bring back the backwards baseball cap

Bill Maher has some dodgy ideas about health issues.

Rogan’s left arm has a sleeve tattoo of an alien Buddha shining rays of enlightenment from his third eye, giving the gift of DMT. http://justgetthere.us/blog/uploads/Joe-RogansTattoo.jpg

Personally, I like Rogan. Not his stand-up that much, but he can be a damn good comic actor (NewsRadio), and he’s one of the commentators for the UFC. Completely off-the-rails personality. I think he sold his isolation tank recently.

That’s a heck of a tattoo.

I’ve been a fan of Rogan’s for quite a while now.

His latest stand-up “Talking Monkeys in Space” had me in fits. Probably did the funniest spoof of Ted Haggard I have ever seen.

Yeah he does buy into the moon landing hoax theory, he mentioned it to Penn Jilette and so Penn got the guy from Bad Astronomy onto his show to debunk his claims. Funny thing is he admits openly that he sounds like a crackpot when he talks about it, which at least shows he has his head partially screwed on :D.

Joe Rogan is how I found out about Dimethyl Tryptamine, a very interesting psychedelic chemical. Currently am reading The Spirit Molecule by Rick Strassman.

Bill Maher: Joe really earned my respect when he started the witch hunt against Carlos Menstealia.

I agree, Menstelia is a fraud who should be excised from standup comedy, he is a disgrace.

I take it you saw the South Park episode with him in it? That was one of the most hilariously epic PWNages I have ever witnessed :D.

Was the 8-year old retarded boy that Joe was talking about, the guy operating the camera on this? I mean GEEZ!
